My Job Recycling Computers
I work for a company that recycles computers. People bring us their old computers and we try to refurbish the computer so that it can be reused, or if that is not possible we properly dispose of the parts as many contain dangerous materials that need to be specially disposed of. When we refurbish computers we make sure to do secure hard data drive destruction so that the personal and confidential information from the previous owner does not get into the hands of the person who either purchases or is given the newly refurbished computer. Otherwise no one would donate or recycle their computers.
