3 Basic Golf Tips For Beginners

Even if you are not a competition player and simply play a few rounds in your leisure time you should nevertheless adhere to the rules of the game to keep it fair and challenging and to be respectful to your fellow players.

Here are 3 golf tips for beginners:

1. Do not try to cheat by switching balls while playing. The rules say that you have to play with the same ball from the tee off clear through to the final putt.

2. Take a scorecard with you. You don’t have to record your score, unless you are playing in a competition, but having a scorecard is a great way of keeping track of your progress.

3. The best way to improve your game is to compare older scorecards with your current game. So, if you played the course yesterday, it’s a good idea to bring your scorecard along with you today to compare, and hopefully improve, your performance.
