Identity Theft – Watch Your Personal Data

A few years ago I hadn’t even heard of identity theft. Now, like many people, it’s something that I’m keenly aware of – after all, it is one of the fastest growing crimes in the developed world. There are a number of different types of identity theft - but at the end of the day the outcome is the same, a lot of pain for the unfortunate victims. Even if you find that your financial losses are covered by your bank or credit card, the time and inconvenience you are likely to experience will be horrendous. It pays to take a few simple precautions and keep your personal data safe.
