Dog Training Collars or “Shock” collars have been on the market for over ten years now and it still astounds me that people make claims to their cruelty. The collars are manufactured with built in safety devices that control the amount of correction given to your pet at any one time. Owners can adjust the strength of the sting when administering punishment. You are not unloading tons of wattage on your pet by using a shock collar. The correction is more of a quick sting, but quickly brings order to an unruly pet. Don’t fall into the misguided misconception that shock collars are all bad. If you have a misbehaving pet that you can’t control, look into purchasing a shock collar and you will be amazed at the results.
