She Needed Some Money
My wife and one of her friends dropped by my office the other day while I was working. I asked them what they were up to, and they told me that they were just doing a little shopping for some garden furniture. I told them that I had heard that there was a big sale going on downtown. They told me that the knew about it, and they were actually on their way just then. My wife looked at me with a big smile, and asked me if I could give her some shopping money. I knew then why they had come to visit.
