Koi Fish Pond & Water pH

You should regularly watch the level of pH in the water of the koi fish pond. pH is nothing but the measure of the basic or acidic nature of a particular solution. The normal water or the fresh water should have the pH at 7, which indicates its neutrality. Acidic water will have pH less than 7 and basic water will have pH more than 7 and up to 14. The pH level of the koi fish pond is normally determined by the water supply. For the koi fish pond you need to have a pH slightly more than 7. Never underestimate the significance of pH while checking for the water quality.
