I was out in the Lake Dow area recently. I was surprised to see Custom Luxury Homes in McDonough, GA still being built even while so many other properties are available due to foreclosure. I asked one of the builders about it and he said that when someone has been waiting to build their dream home and they have the money, the economy isn’t going to stop them. These houses ranged from $500,000 to $1,000,000. I was really impressed by some of the construction. Most of the houses were brick with nice trim work. I also liked many of the windows and doors. It seems good doors, windows and trim work can really set a house apart.
