The False Alarm
Ever since I was a kid, I never really encountered a tsunami. According to experts, it usually occurs when there is a strong earthquake. It was a beautiful sunny day. My family and I were preparing for lunch. I was setting the table, my brother was using his abdominal machine, and my parents were cooking. People started shouting on the streets – ‘tsunami’. People were panicking everywhere and soon we were also running to the nearest mountain in our area. When we reached an elevated area, we saw the seashore at a distance and the water was calm. It was just a false alarm.
