Replacing the first interview is a computer terminal

In one hand the new market being computer savvy is a benefit and in another its becoming many peoples downfall. When you fill out an application these days you no longer simply walk in and ask for one then hand it to the boss asking for the interview right then and their. You are asked to take a series of psychological tests, designed to trick you if you try to cheat, and your asked to submit to several background checks.

Although these keep the work environment safer and help weed out the con artists, they are a bit tedious and time consuming. My only regret is that they are not transferable when you move to another job.
