Pastel Paintings being stolen?
In recent months and years there have been several very highly valued and beloved paintings stolen in Europe. Why they are being stolen, no one knows exactly, but it is common knowledge that these paintings by some of the most world famous and renown painters in history hold such historical importance and for many, an emotional importance as well, that it is incomprehensible as to why someone would steal them. Some in this world do not hold these oil paintings, chalk drawings, and pastel paintings in the reverence that most of us do. They are a part of the very picture of humanity’s history, and should be treasured as such.
